Cost Cutters ("we", "us") helps businesses reduce their costs. To do that, we handle information about you and your business. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. What we collect

Account details — your name, business name, email, phone number and country, provided when you join.
Billing documents — the bills and statements you upload or forward to your dedicated email address, including supplier names, account numbers and amounts.
Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
Usage data — how you use the members dashboard, so we can improve it.

2. How we use it

To audit your bills and identify cheaper suppliers and member pricing.
To arrange supplier switches you have accepted.
To calculate and report your savings on your live dashboard.
To send you the reports and alerts you have opted into.
To operate, secure and improve our services.

3. What we never do

We never sell your data. We never share your billing information with anyone except the suppliers involved in a switch you have accepted — and then only what's needed to complete it.

4. Storage & security

Your documents and data are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored with reputable cloud providers, and accessible only to team members who need them to service your account.

5. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). Email privacy@costcutters.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you logged in and remember preferences like your selected country. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

7. International members

We service businesses in 190+ countries and comply with applicable privacy laws in the regions we operate, including the Australian Privacy Principles and the GDPR for members in the EU/UK.
